Proxxon 1/4" Combination Adapter – Square Drive Sockets and Bits in Your Cordless Driver

You fit the Proxxon combination adapter (art. no. 23783) into a cordless or electric screwdriver to hold either 1/4" square drive sockets or 1/4" hexagon standard bits (6.3 mm). So you do not need a separate tool or holder for each insert.

You switch between the two fittings simply by sliding the sleeve. At 60 mm overall length, the adapter is compact and fits easily into toolboxes or bit sets.

Using the adapter

Fit the adapter into your cordless or electric tool and slide the sleeve, depending on whether you want to use a square drive socket or a hexagon bit. This lets you switch between driving screws with bits and working with sockets without changing tools. Before you start, check that the socket or bit is seated firmly in the holder.
