PappArt Treasure Chest 285 x 200 x 125 mm – Kraft Card Box

PappArt treasure chest in kraft card – to decorate and paint

The PappArt treasure chest is a hinged chest made of brown kraft card, which you can decorate however you like. With outer dimensions of 285 × 200 × 125 mm, it offers enough space for your own decoration, gift or storage idea.

The card is untreated and can be covered with paper or painted with acrylic paint. You can paint the chest in a single colour, decorate it with patterns or cover it with paper.

Decorating the chest

Brown kraft card absorbs paint. Apply acrylic paint in thin layers and let each layer dry before applying the next. This stops the card from warping due to too much moisture. For light colours on the brown surface, first apply a coat of white acrylic paint. To cover the chest with paper, apply the glue thinly and evenly and smooth the paper out from the centre.
