Metal buckle for webbing – fastens like a car seat belt

This metal buckle works like a car seat belt buckle: push the tongue into the buckle until it clicks audibly into place. To open it, press the button on the buckle and the tongue releases. You can use it to join webbing on pet leads, pet carriers, and tool and accessory bags.

The buckle is available for 25 mm and 30 mm wide webbing. Choose the size from the options.

Choosing the right size and fitting

First measure the width of your webbing and choose the size to match. The webbing width and the buckle must fit together, otherwise the webbing will slip or cannot be threaded through. Thread the webbing through the tongue and the buckle and sew it in place. Once fastened, pull firmly on both sides and check that the connection holds. This is especially worthwhile for leads and bags that are often under load.

What the buckle is not intended for

The buckle is suitable for bags, leads and simple webbing connections. You must not use it to secure people or for safety-critical fastenings.
