How to enamel a copper pendant

The sequence for enamelling is always similar. A clean surface and a thin, even application are important.

• Degrease the copper thoroughly and do not touch the surface to be enamelled with your fingers afterwards.
• Apply the adhesive thinly.
• Sift the enamel powder on evenly and leave to dry completely.
• Fire in the kiln according to the instructions for the enamel powder and leave to cool.

Can also be used without enamel

If you do not want to fire them, you can use the pendants for decorating and personalising, for example as a jewellery element or gift tag. A test piece shows you beforehand how your motif looks on the copper.
