Rico Design 3D Belly Cast Kit for Pregnancy – Plaster Bandages

Rico Design belly cast kit – make a plaster cast of your baby bump yourself

With the Rico Design belly cast kit you can make a plaster cast of your baby bump and keep your pregnancy as a lasting memento. The kit contains the materials you need: 5 rolls of plaster bandage, a cover sheet for clothing and floor, fragrance-free skin protection cream, latex-free gloves and sandpaper. Detailed instructions are included.

The skin protection cream stops the plaster from sticking to your skin. The cover sheet protects clothing and floor from plaster splashes. The gloves are latex-free, which matters if you are sensitive to latex.

Method

Follow the instructions supplied. In general, start by preparing your work area: cover the floor and your clothing with the sheet. Then apply the skin protection cream to your belly so that the plaster can be removed easily later. Cut the plaster bandages into strips, dip them briefly in water and lay them on so that they overlap. Smooth each layer so that the surface is even. Wear the gloves while you work.

Tips for the cast

Do not plan the casting on your own: laying on the strips is easier with a second person. Once the cast is finished, you can use the sandpaper to smooth edges and rough areas.
