Städter Foot Cookie Cutter – Cut Footprints from Dough, Fondant and Marzipan

With the Städter foot cookie cutter you cut small footprints from biscuit dough, fondant or marzipan. The cutter only cuts the outline and has no embossing inside. It measures 5.5 cm and is made of shiny, rustproof stainless steel which, according to Städter, is food-safe and dishwasher safe.

The motif suits a baby shower, a birth or summer. Thanks to its compact size, you get plenty of biscuits from one sheet of dough. The cutter can also be used for crafting with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

Cutting tips

Roll the dough out evenly so that all the feet are the same thickness and bake evenly. Dip the cutter briefly in flour before each cut, or in cornflour or icing sugar for fondant. Press it firmly straight down and carefully release the dough. For biscuits, chill the dough first to keep the edges sharp. Because the cutter is only 5.5 cm, the toes are fine, so it is best to roll fondant or marzipan out thinly.

Also for crafting

Use the cutter to cut shapes from modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo, for example for pendants, magnets or table decorations. If you use the cutter for craft materials, do not use it for food afterwards.
