Rayher mirror mosaic tiles 15 × 15 mm – sparkling accents for mosaics and decorating

The Rayher mirror mosaic tiles in 15 × 15 mm are small, reflective squares for mosaics and decorative projects. They reflect the light and add sparkling accents, for example on wood, glass, metal or ceramic. According to Rayher, they can also be used on concrete and polystyrene. The pack contains approx. 1 kg, which is approx. 1000 pieces, and covers an area of about 35 × 45 cm.

At 15 × 15 mm, these tiles are larger than the 10 × 10 mm and 10 × 15 mm versions in the same range. You cover surfaces more quickly, whereas smaller tiles follow curves and fine details more accurately.

Using the mirror mosaic tiles

The surface should be clean, dry and free from grease. First lay out the tiles without fixing them so you can decide on spacing and pattern. Then stick them down with mosaic adhesive. For work outdoors, choose a frost-resistant adhesive. Once it has dried, apply the grout with a spatula and wipe the mirror surfaces clean with a damp sponge before the grout sets.

Cutting tiles to fit

According to Rayher, the tiles can be broken with a hammer or mosaic nippers, for example for edge pieces or curves. Splinters may form: wear safety goggles and gloves, and work on a surface that you sweep thoroughly afterwards.
