Cernit Silicone Mould Biscuits – Flexible Mould for Polymer Clay and Resin
The Cernit Biscuits silicone mould is a round, very flexible motif mould for polymer modelling clay and epoxy resin. The soft silicone bends easily, so you can release your creations without force once they have hardened. Use it to make motifs for jewellery, table decorations, home decor and fashion accessories.
The mould measures approx. 7 cm in diameter and is approx. 1 cm high. According to the manufacturer, it is specially developed for modelling clay, suitable for conventional ovens, lightfast and acid-free. With the hanging loop, you can store it without taking up much space.
Working with the mould
Press the modelling clay evenly into the mould and smooth off any excess clay so that the back is flat. Harden the clay in the oven following the instructions on its packaging. You should avoid temperatures that are too high so that the silicone does not warp. For epoxy resin, pour the mixed resin into the mould and let it harden completely. To demould, flex the silicone slightly and the piece will come away without force.
Care
Clean the mould with soapy water. It is reusable, and it is best to remove any residue of clay or resin before it sticks firmly.
