Efco Fish Hook Earring Wires 19 mm – Real Gold-Plated for Your Own Drop Earrings

Efco fish hook earring wires are the base for handmade drop earrings. They are approx. 19 mm long and real gold-plated. You attach beads, cabochons or charms and combine them as you like. The hooks suit single gifts as well as larger jewellery projects.

The earring wires come in packs of 10 or 100. Choose the pack size from the options. The small pack is enough for a pair of earrings or a trial piece; for batches or several pairs, the large pack saves you reordering.

Making drop earrings

First put together the part that will hang, for example a bead on a head pin or a charm with a jump ring. Then attach it to the hook. Always open jump rings sideways with two pairs of pliers, sliding the ends against each other instead of pulling them apart. This way the ring keeps its round shape and closes neatly again.

Planning for several pairs

A pair of earrings needs two hooks. With 10 pieces you can make five pairs, with 100 pieces 50 pairs. If you want to give earrings as gifts or make them in batches, the larger pack is worthwhile.
