Pracht Jump Rings Ø 5 mm in Alteisen – for Clasps and Jewellery Fastenings

When making your own jewellery, you use the Pracht jump rings (Ø 5 mm, colour Alteisen) between the chain end and the clasp. This gives your fastening a flexible connecting link. The pack contains 30 pieces, enough for several necklaces or bracelets.

At Ø 5 mm the rings are fairly small and suit fine pieces of jewellery. The Alteisen colour has a matt, antique look and combines well with other metal parts in dark, aged tones.

Using the jump rings

Attach a jump ring to the end of your chain or cord and fasten the clasp to it. The ring acts as a connecting link, so the clasp stays flexible and is easier to open and close. Before you start, check that the ring fits the eye of your clasp and the thickness of your chain, as space is limited at Ø 5 mm. For larger eyes or heavier chains, the jump rings are also available in Ø 7 mm (20 pieces).
