Lobster clasps with eyelet in antique brass – clasps for handmade jewellery

Pracht lobster clasps are jewellery fasteners for handmade necklaces, bracelets and anklets. The bag contains 2 lobster clasps with 2 matching eyelets, in antique brass. The spring mechanism opens easily and closes securely again. At approx. 10 mm, the clasps are fairly small and suit fine to medium-sized pieces of jewellery. They can also be used to repair jewellery.

Fitting the lobster clasp

Hook the eyelet onto the end of your necklace or bracelet and close it. It is best to open a jump ring or open eyelet with two pairs of pliers, twisting it sideways rather than pulling it apart, so that the ring stays round and does not open again. Attach a jump ring to the other end of the chain for the clasp to hook into. If you are making a necklace or bracelet with beads, you can also choose a clasp that matches them in colour.
