The Rayher Heishi bead set in lavender contains everything you need to make at least 3 stretch bracelets. Heishi beads are flat, disc-shaped beads made of polymer clay. Combined with the glass beads, the metal jewellery elements and the tassels, they make bracelets with a boho look.

The colours in the set are matched to each other, so you can thread them in any order you like. An instruction card is included, so even beginners can get started easily. As everything is in the set, you hardly need any other material to begin with. The set can also be given as a gift.

What you can make with the set

The heishi beads form the base of each bracelet. Use the glass beads and the 25 metal jewellery elements to add accents, while the tassels bring movement to the design. As the elastic cord is included, you make stretch bracelets that you simply slip over your hand, with no clasp.

Method

First lay the beads out in the order you want on a flat surface before threading them. That way you can see whether the colours and elements go together and how many beads you need per bracelet. Divide the quantity between three bracelets from the start so that the material is enough.

• Secure one end of the cord with a piece of adhesive tape so that no beads slip off.
• Thread the beads, glass beads and elements in your chosen order.
• Do not pull the cord too tight when knotting, so that the bracelet stays stretchy when you put it on.
• Tie the knot several times and pull it tight.
