Pracht mounted end cap Ø 5.0 mm – finish for leather and braided cords

Fit the Pracht mounted end cap in oxide to the ends of jewellery cords, leather cords, braided cords and the like. Glue it on with a little jewellery glue and crimp it to give your cord a neat finish. The pack contains 1 piece, size 5 mm.

For cords of a different thickness, the end cap is also available in Ø 3.0 mm in oxide. Compare the size with the thickness of your cord before buying.

Fitting the end cap

Cut the end of the cord straight so that it sits neatly in the end cap. Put a little jewellery glue on the end of the cord, slide the end cap on and press it down. Then crimp it with pliers. Use the glue sparingly, as excess glue will otherwise squeeze out at the edge. Try the fit dry first: the cord should go into the end cap without force and sit firmly in it. You need one end cap for each end of the cord.
