SUKI red upholstery tacks – for fixing and decorating

SUKI red upholstery tacks hold upholstery covers in place and add decorative accents to chairs, stools, headboards or storage box seats. The tacks are made of iron with a red plastic cap. They measure 9 × 13 mm, and the pack contains 40 pieces.

Upholstery tacks have long been used in furniture making. You can set them close together to form a continuous decorative border. Spaced further apart, they look more relaxed and add individual dots of colour.

How to fit the tacks

Mark out the row with a pencil and ruler so that the tacks sit straight and evenly spaced. Plan the quantity beforehand: 40 tacks are enough for a smaller decorative border, and you will need more if you set them close together. Drive the tacks in with light, vertical taps. Place a piece of fabric or cardboard over the head so that the hammer does not damage the plastic cap. For hard wood, drill a pilot hole with a thin drill bit so that the tack does not wander.
