SUKI curved screw hooks – 9 pieces with wood thread for hanging

SUKI curved screw hooks are galvanised small hardware items for screwing into wood. You can hang light items from them, such as ropes, cords, chains, wires or cables. The set contains 9 hooks, each 30 mm long and 2.6 mm in diameter, so you can put up several hanging points in one go.

The wood thread cuts straight into the wood. The galvanised finish protects the iron from rust. The thread is not intended for masonry.

Fitting the hooks

Mark the position and screw the hook in by hand. It helps to turn it by the curve using a solid object, such as a screwdriver placed in the bend. In hardwood, pre-drill with a drill bit slightly thinner than the thread core, so that the wood does not split and the hook does not snap. Tighten the hook only until the curve points in the direction you want.

Which size?

At 30 x 2.6 mm, this set sits in the middle of the range. There are also 20 x 2.0 mm (12 pieces) and 40 x 3.0 mm (7 pieces). Smaller hooks suit fine cords and thin battens, while larger ones sit deeper in the wood.
