UHU Plus Endfest – 2-part epoxy adhesive for heavily loaded bonds

UHU Plus Endfest is a solvent-free 2-part epoxy adhesive for bonds that will be heavily loaded. You can use it to bond metal, stone, concrete, porcelain, wood, glass and many plastics. The pack contains two tubes of 15 ml each, one with resin and one with hardener. The two are mixed 1:1 by volume.

After mixing, you have around 90 minutes of working time. During this time you can align parts and fill joints without having to rush. At room temperature the bond is set after approx. 12 to 24 hours. The cured adhesive is waterproof, transparent, gap-filling and paintable.

How to bond with UHU Plus Endfest

The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free of grease; roughen smooth metals lightly beforehand. Squeeze equal amounts from both tubes onto a disposable surface and mix thoroughly until the mixture is uniform. Too much hardener or resin impairs curing. Apply the adhesive thinly to one or both surfaces, join the parts and hold them in place until the adhesive has cured. After use, put each cap back on the correct tube so that nothing gets mixed up.

What it is suitable for – and what not

The adhesive bonds metal, stone, concrete, porcelain, wood, glass, ceramics and various plastics such as polystyrene, acrylic glass or polyester. Because it is gap-filling, it also evens out rough surfaces or small gaps. It is not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE and silicone rubber.

You will also need: a disposable surface for mixing (e.g. cardboard or a plastic offcut), a spatula or wooden stick for mixing, protective gloves and eye protection, and clamps or tape for holding the parts in place if required.

Danger: Causes serious eye damage. May cause an allergic skin reaction. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves / eye protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water and soap. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTRE or doctor. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with national regulations.
