UHU Special Adhesive for Soft PVC – clear bond for repairs

UHU Special Adhesive for Soft PVC (art. no. 46655) is a clear adhesive for repairing and bonding soft plastics. It suits soft PVC, PU, imitation leather and some types of rubber. Because the bond stays clear, the joint is barely noticeable even in visible places.

The bond withstands temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C and is resistant to water, dilute acids and alkalis. That means you can also use it on items that get wet or are kept outdoors. The 30 g tube is enough for repairs and smaller bonding jobs.

What the adhesive is suitable for

The adhesive is intended for common soft plastics, such as soft PVC, PU, imitation leather and some types of rubber. It does not stick to PE, PP and polystyrene, so use a different adhesive for those. If you are unsure of the material, test the adhesive first on an inconspicuous spot.

How to apply it

A clean bonding surface is the basis for a durable join. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep ignition sources away, as the adhesive is highly flammable.

• Make sure the surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease
• Apply the adhesive sparingly so it does not squeeze out at the sides and the visible joint stays small
• Join the parts and hold them in place until the bond holds
• Close the tube again straight after use
