Natural peacock feather, approx. 75–90 cm – long feather for costumes, hats and decoration

The natural-coloured peacock feather is a long decorative element for crafts. It is approx. 75–90 cm long and is supplied singly. It adds a striking accent to carnival costumes, hats or DIY projects.

Because of its length, the feather works best where it is meant to stand out, for example on a costume, in a floor vase or in a floral arrangement. If you need an even longer feather, a version of approx. 110–125 cm is also available.

Using the feather

As a natural product, each feather differs slightly in length and shape, which is why the length is given as a range. For a hat, tuck the quill under the hat band or fix it with hot glue. On a costume, sew the quill on with a few stitches or secure it with floristry wire. Do not bend the shaft sharply, as it may kink, and store the feather lying flat so the vane does not lose its shape.
