Rayher A4 Transfer Film – Transfer Your Own Designs onto Candles and Glass

With Rayher A4 transfer film you can transfer a design you have printed yourself onto candles, glasses and other smooth, non-absorbent surfaces. Print your chosen design onto the film with a laser printer or laser copier, release it from the backing paper in a water bath and slide it into the position you want.

The pack contains 4 sheets (3+1) measuring 210 × 297 mm. Several small designs fit on one sheet, so you can plan the quantity for several candles or glasses.

How to transfer your design

The process takes just a few steps. The right printer is important: the film is intended only for laser printers or laser copiers; inkjet printers are not suitable.

• Choose a design and print it onto the glossy side of the film (fuser temperature max. 170 °C).
• Place the printed film in lukewarm water for approx. 30–60 seconds, until the backing paper starts to come away.
• Slide the design from the backing paper onto wax, glass or another smooth, non-absorbent surface.

Which surfaces are suitable?

The design adheres to smooth surfaces such as candle wax or glass. The film is not intended for absorbent surfaces. Wipe the surface clean before applying so that dust or grease does not affect adhesion. The film is also available as a single sheet if you only need one design.
