Rayher white pillar candle – paraffin candle blank for decorating

The white pillar candle from Rayher is a candle blank made of 100 % paraffin for decorating and customising, for example for christening, communion or wedding candles. At Ø 6 cm and 25 cm high, it offers plenty of space for motifs, borders or lettering.

You can dip the candle in liquid, coloured wax, decorate it with decorating wax, or stick on ready-made wax motifs and borders. The candle carries the RAL quality mark for candles. This includes, among other things, minimised dripping and sooting, a wick free from impurities and limit values for all ingredients, especially paraffins and wicks.

Decorating the candle

The smooth, white surface suits both simple and elaborate designs. For christenings, communions or weddings there are matching motif sheets and borders, for example with a stork, bride and groom, hearts or doves. To decorate it:

• Cut wax sheets or borders to size with a knife and press them on lightly until they stick to the candle.
• Use decorating wax to add lines, dots and lettering.
• For dipping, you need a container tall enough for the 25 cm candle.
• Plan the motif beforehand, leaving a gap from the wick and the top edge, so that the decoration does not get in the way as the candle burns down.
