Städter Embossing Star Cookie Cutter, 5-Pointed, 7 cm – for Dough, Fondant and Craft Clay

With the Städter embossing star cookie cutter, you can cut out five-pointed stars measuring 7 cm from biscuit dough, fondant or marzipan. The cutter has a pre-embossed pattern and is made of stainless steel.

According to Städter, the stainless steel embossing cutters in this series are rustproof, food-safe and dishwasher safe. The cutter works well for Christmas biscuits and for decorating cakes and baked goods. You can also use it for crafts, for example with salt dough, modelling clay or Fimo.

Cutting out

Roll out the dough evenly so that all the stars are the same thickness and bake evenly. Press the cutter firmly and straight into the dough until it touches the work surface. If the dough is sticky, first dip the cutter briefly in flour or icing sugar. For fondant and marzipan, use cornflour or icing sugar instead. Carefully release the star from the cutter so that the points do not tear off. After use, you can put the cutter in the dishwasher.

Using it for crafts

As well as baked goods, you can use the cutter to cut out salt dough, modelling clay or Fimo, for example for pendants, gift decorations or tree ornaments. If you use the cutter for craft materials, do not use it for food afterwards.
