Städter embossing cookie cutter, horse head – cut dough and emboss the design

With the Städter stainless steel horse head embossing cookie cutter, you cut horse heads from dough, fondant or marzipan and emboss the design at the same time. According to Städter, the embossing gives the biscuits more relief. The cutter measures 8 cm.

According to the manufacturer, the cutter is rustproof, spot-welded, food-safe and dishwasher safe. The surface is polished and shiny. You can also use it for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

Embossing tips

Do not roll the dough out too thinly, so that the embossing stays visible. With shortcrust pastry, it helps to chill the dough before cutting, as it then keeps clean edges. Press the cutter firmly and straight into the dough, lift it off and carefully release the horse head. For sticky dough or fondant, lightly dust the cutter with flour, icing sugar or cornflour.

Crafting and modelling

You can also cut modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo with the cutter, for example for pendants, gift decorations or place cards. Once you have used the cutter for crafting, do not use it for food again.
