With the Städter dummy embossing cookie cutter, you cut 7 cm dummy shapes from dough, fondant or marzipan. The stainless steel cutter has a pre-embossed pattern that presses a texture into the shape as you cut. The motif suits baby-themed occasions.

The cutter can also be used for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

Getting a good embossed finish

Roll the dough out evenly and press the cutter firmly and straight down into it. Doughs without much raising agent, such as shortcrust pastry, keep the embossing better after baking because they hardly rise. With fondant and marzipan, do not roll the mixture out too thinly, so that the relief shows. If the mixture sticks, a little flour or icing sugar on the work surface and on the cutter will help.

Crafting and modelling

You can also cut dummy shapes from modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo, for example for pendants or decorations. Once you have used a cutter for crafting or modelling, do not use it for food again.
