Städter Embossing Cookie Cutter Tooth with Face – for Dough, Fondant and Marzipan

The Städter embossing cookie cutter, tooth with face (art. no. 57159), is made of stainless steel and measures 7 cm. You can use it to cut teeth from dough, fondant or marzipan. The cutter has a pre-embossed design that presses the face as a relief into the cut-out shape. You can also use it for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

According to Städter, the embossing cutters in this stainless steel series are rustproof, dishwasher safe and food-safe.

Working with the embossing cutter

Roll out the dough to an even thickness so that the embossing is the same depth everywhere and the shape browns evenly when baking. Place the cutter on the dough with the sharp cutting edge facing down, press it firmly through and carefully lift the tooth from the work surface. If the dough is sticky, dip the cutter in flour or icing sugar from time to time. The cutting edge is sharp, so it is best to hold the cutter from above rather than by the edge when cutting.

Also for crafting

With modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo, you can cut out teeth for decorations or pendants, for example. If you have used the cutter for such craft materials, do not use it for food afterwards.
