Städter Chevy embossing cookie cutter – vintage car motif for dough, fondant and modelling clay

With the Chevy embossing cookie cutter from Städter, you cut out vintage cars from dough, fondant or marzipan. The cutter has a pre-embossed design that stays in the material as a relief when you cut. The motif measures approx. 8 cm and shows a Chevrolet with finely detailed contours.

The cutter is made of stainless steel, spot-welded, with a polished, glossy finish. According to Städter, it is rustproof, food-safe and dishwasher safe. As well as baking, it can be used for crafting, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or FIMO, and for felting work and candle and soap making.

Getting a good embossed result

Roll out the dough evenly and chill it before cutting. Firm dough cuts more cleanly and holds its contours better. If the dough is sticky, dip the cutter briefly in flour first; for fondant, use icing sugar or cornflour. Press the cutter straight down with even pressure so that the embossing is the same depth across the whole surface. You can make use of the embossing when decorating, for example with colour or icing.

Keeping crafting and baking separate

If you have used the cutter for salt dough, FIMO, soap or candle wax, do not use it for food afterwards. If you want to do both, it is best to use separate cutters.
