According to the manufacturer, Städter stainless steel cutters are rustproof and food-safe. The cutter can also be used for crafting and modelling, for example with modelling clay, salt dough or Fimo.

Getting clean outlines

Roll the dough out evenly and chill it so that it does not spread when cut. Dust the cutter lightly with flour (with cornflour or icing sugar for fondant) and press it straight down into the dough with even pressure. Carefully loosen the edges of the dough before lifting out the shape. Clean the cutter thoroughly after use and dry it. Once you have used the cutter for Fimo, modelling clay or other craft materials, do not use it for food again.
