Städter Springform Cake Tin Ø 20 cm – Flat Base, Non-Stick Coating and Leakproof Ring

The Städter springform tin, 20 cm in diameter and 7 cm high, is a round cake tin with a flat base for cakes, gateaux and cheesecakes. It holds 2,500 ml. The Xynflon non-stick coating makes it easier to release the cake. A ring around the flat base makes the tin leakproof, so runny batter cannot escape between the side and the base. According to Städter, it is made without PFAS.

The tin is made of metal and is heat-resistant to 250 °C. It comes in a folding box with a recipe.

Baking with the springform tin

Rinse the tin with hot water before first use. Before baking, spray it with baking release spray or grease it lightly, and dust it with a little flour if needed. Because the ring seals the base, you can also pour in thin batters. Let the cake cool briefly after baking before you open the side. To remove the cake, do not use pointed or metal objects, and do not cut in the tin, so that the coating stays undamaged.

Cleaning and care

Clean the tin with hot water, mild washing-up liquid and a cloth. Do not use abrasive or scouring cleaners, and do not put the tin in the dishwasher.

Which size to choose

The Ø 20 cm tin holds 2,500 ml and suits smaller cakes. The same series also includes flat-base springform tins, 7 cm high, in Ø 24 cm with 3,500 ml and Ø 28 cm with 4.5 l. Choose according to the quantity your recipe specifies.
