Shell Silicone Mould 110 mm – Mould for Casting Plaster, Concrete and Wax

The Graine Créative shell silicone mould is made of soft silicone and is used to cast plaster, concrete or wax into a shell 110 mm in size, for example as a soap dish. The silicone gives way when you release the cast, so you can gently peel the mould back from the edge.

The mould is the negative form, not the finished dish: the dish is only created by your cast. The pack contains 1 mould.

How to cast the shell

Place the mould on a level surface so that the dish sits flat later. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on its packaging, pour it in slowly and tap the mould lightly on the work surface so that air bubbles rise. Do not demould until the compound has set completely. Then gently peel the silicone back from the edge instead of pulling the cast out by force.

Important when using

Once you have cast plaster, concrete, wax or soap mixture in a mould, do not use it for food again and never as a baking tin.
