Prym transparent sewing box – fold-out storage for sewing supplies

The Prym transparent sewing box is an empty storage box for sewing supplies that you can take along to a sewing class or workshop. You open it out like a toolbox and see at once what is where. Two levels keep thread, needles and other accessories separate and tidy.

The plastic is transparent and impact-resistant, and the box weighs very little. That makes it easy to carry to class, and because the colour is neutral, it fits in well on a shelf or in the sewing room. The box is supplied empty.

Using the sewing box

Opening it out like a toolbox gives you access to both levels at the same time, without rummaging. It is best to organise the box by how often you use things: put the things you use often, such as needles, tape measure or thread, on top, and less frequently used accessories underneath. The transparent plastic lets you see the contents from the outside.
