Prym Elastic Strap Tape 15 mm Skin Colour, 80 cm

Prym Elastic Strap Tape in Skin Colour – Soft, Stretchy Tape for Bra Straps and Camisoles

Prym elastic strap tape in skin colour (art. no. 990732) is a soft, stretchy tape for making your own bra straps, camisoles and slips. You can also use it to replace torn or overstretched straps. The tape is 15 mm wide and the card holds 80 cm.

The tape is made of 87% polyamide and 13% elastodiene, and Prym gives its elasticity as 100%. It feels comfortable against the skin and keeps its shape when stretched. It is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and washable up to 60 °C, so the straps keep working after many washes.

Sewing the strap tape

To replace a strap, measure the old strap and cut the tape to match. Sew it on with a zigzag or stretch stitch so that the seam stretches with the tape and does not break. With polyamide tapes, it is worth securing the cut ends firmly so that they do not come undone.

Skin colour or white?

This tape is skin coloured and barely shows under light clothing. For white underwear, Prym's elastic strap tape is also available in white (art. no. 990730).
