Prym Tubular Elastic 7.5 mm, white, 2 m – hollow braided elastic

Prym Tubular Elastic in White – Braided Elastic for Threading Cord

Prym Tubular Elastic in white is a braided elastic with a hollow centre. You use it for sewing and repairs when a cord needs to run through the elastic, for example on children's trousers. The card holds 2 m of elastic, 7.5 mm wide.

The elastic is made of 68% polyester and 32% elastodiene and has an elasticity of 150% according to Prym. It has the typical zigzag pattern of Prym's braided elastics. The yarn is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and carries the "tested for harmful substances" label for textiles.

How to thread a cord

Attach the cord to a safety pin or bodkin and push it through the hollow centre of the elastic. Gather the elastic bit by bit onto the pin as you go. Secure both ends of the cord before you let go, so that it does not slip back into the tube.
