Clover Soft Stitch Markers – 30 stitch markers for needles from 2.0 to 8.0 mm

Clover Soft Stitch Markers (art. no. 3107) are closed stitch markers made from flexible elastomer. You use them when knitting to mark row starts, pattern repeats or decreases. Slip the marker onto the needle and it stays in place between the stitches.

The set contains 30 markers in two sizes: 10 small rings for needles from 2.0 to 3.75 mm and 20 large rings for needles from 3.75 to 8.0 mm. That covers many needle sizes, from fine sock yarn to thicker wool.

Using the stitch markers

Cast on your stitches, knit to the point where you want the marker and slip the ring from one needle tip onto the right-hand needle. Carry on knitting as normal. On the next row or round, simply lift the ring from one needle to the other and it travels with your work. As the rings are closed, you can only put them on at the end of the needle, not in the middle of your work.

Choosing the size

Choose the ring to suit your needle size. For needles up to 3.75 mm use the small rings, and for thicker needles up to 8.0 mm use the large ones. At 3.75 mm both sizes fit. The ring should sit loosely on the needle so that it does not catch when you lift the stitches.
