Clover Long Circular Stitch Holder – Safely Park Stitches from Circular Needles

The Clover long circular stitch holder (art. no. 3162) holds stitches from circular knitting needles of 61–91 cm in length, whenever you want to set a piece of circular knitting aside or park stitches. The cord is soft and flexible, so the work keeps its shape and the stitches are not stretched.

You adjust the cord length to the number of stitches. As well as the stainless steel needle, the stitch holder consists of a nylon cord, a stopper made of silicone rubber and a ball made of wool.

How to use the stitch holder

Slide the stitches from your circular knitting needle onto the stitch holder and push the needle tip into the stopper, and the stitches stay securely in place. You set the cord length with the ball on the opposite side of the stopper: pull the ball and the cord gets shorter. This keeps the work compact even with few stitches and makes it easy to store. According to Clover, the cord can also be used as a lifeline thread.

Long or short?

The long stitch holder suits circular knitting needles of 61–91 cm in length. If you work with shorter needles of 23–41 cm, use the short Clover stitch holder (art. no. 3161).
