Prym sleeve ironing board – narrow board for sleeves and trouser legs

The Prym sleeve ironing board (art. no. 611912) is a small, narrow ironing board for pressing sleeves and trouser legs. At 52 × 12.5 cm, it reaches places that are hard to get at on a large ironing board. You set it up on any work surface in two simple steps, and it is ready to use straight away. According to Prym, it stands securely on all work surfaces.

The cover is coated on both sides and permeable to steam. One side has a printed metric scale, the other side is heat-reflective. Turn the cover over depending on the job.

Pressing sleeves and trouser legs

Slide the sleeve or trouser leg over the board so that the seam is on top, and press it open bit by bit. Because the board is narrow, the back of the sleeve stays smooth and you do not press in any creases. The scale side helps you measure hem widths and seam allowances evenly when pressing them over. Use the heat-reflective side when you want to make better use of the heat from the iron.
