Prym rivets 9 mm in antique copper – reinforce and decorate

You can use the Prym rivets (art. no. 403102), 9 mm in diameter, to reinforce and decorate textiles. On jeans in particular, they secure pocket corners that take a lot of strain and add a decorative touch to the garment at the same time. The rivets are made of rustproof brass and have an antique copper-coloured, burnished finish. They can be used on both sides, so you decide which side stays visible. You can also use them as a decorative element on bags and in your own DIY projects. They are washable up to 60 °C.

Attaching the rivets

The tool included is all you need to attach them. Alternatively, you can fix the rivets with the Prym VARIO pliers or the Prym tripod. Before the first use, try one out on a scrap of fabric, especially with thick denim. That way you can see how the rivet sits and do not have to test on the finished garment. For pocket corners, place the rivet where the seam is under the most strain. For decoration, space several rivets evenly, for example on a bag or a fabric belt.
