The Fridolin 3D paper model Seahorse is a kit of precisely laser-cut special cardboard parts that you slot together to make a free-standing seahorse. It belongs to the Fridolin series "Natural Museum Collection", with the motto "Train your skills!". It calls for concentration, patience and nimble fingers. Once assembled, the model measures approx. 8.5 × 11 × 5 cm and works as a decorative piece.

The pack contains the parts, an illustration and the assembly instructions. Recommended for ages 8 and up. The models in the series can be added to over time to build a small collection.

Assembling the seahorse

The parts slot together, so you do not need any glue to build the model. Have the assembly instructions to hand and work step by step in the given order. Detach the parts carefully and only with clean, dry fingers so that the cardboard does not bend or get marked. If a joint does not fit straight away, do not force it; check in the instructions whether it is the right part for that step.

With or without glue

According to the manufacturer, the model can be fixed with glue. If it is to stand permanently as a decorative piece, apply the glue sparingly to the joints, once you have first slotted the whole model together as a trial.
