Fridolin 3D Paper Model Parrot – Animal Model Made from Laser-Cut Cardboard Parts

The Fridolin 3D paper model parrot is a craft model to assemble from precisely laser-cut cardboard parts. It belongs to the Natural Museum Collection series. Once built, the parrot is a decorative piece of approx. 14 × 10 × 4 cm. Building it takes concentration, patience and a little dexterity. Fridolin recommends the model from 8 years.

The pack contains the model and assembly instructions. A picture is also included, so you can see the finished result as you build. The models in the series can be gradually expanded into a small collection.

Assembling the model

The parts are pressed out of the cardboard and slotted together following the assembly instructions. Lay out all the parts before you start and work in the order given in the instructions. Press the parts out of the sheet carefully and do not bend them forcefully, so that the edges do not tear. If a slot connection does not fit straight away, check the position again rather than pushing. If you want to display the model permanently, you can fix individual connections with a drop of glue.
