The Go Handmade bag base is a perforated base in beige faux leather for DIY handbags. It measures 36 × 13 cm and forms the sturdy foundation on which you build your bag.

The holes have a diameter of 4 mm. This means you can crochet yarn onto the base or sew it on with needle and thread, without having to punch holes yourself first.

Working with the bag base

To crochet onto it, insert the crochet hook through the holes and work the first round directly along the edge of the base, then build the further rounds on top. Choose a crochet hook that fits easily through the holes. To sew it on, pass the thread and needle through the existing holes in the same way.
