Rico Design Creative Chenillove is a 100 % polyester chenille yarn for knitting and crochet. The thread is even and round, with a dense chenille structure and a matt sheen. Choose your colour from the options.

Each ball weighs 100 g and has a length of 110 m. At this length the yarn is fairly thick and suits needles from 4 to 5 mm. Projects such as cushions, blankets, scarves or hats knit up quickly.

Planning quantities and tension

The length of 110 m per ball is your basis for working out how much you need: convert the metre requirement in your pattern into the number of balls, and allow one extra ball if you are close. If possible, buy the whole amount from the same dye lot so that no colour differences show in your finished piece. What matters is the tension given in your pattern; the figure on the ball band is only a guide.

What the texture suits

Chenille has a soft, dense pile that covers small irregularities in the stitches. Stocking stitch fabrics or simple crochet patterns therefore show it off best.
