Bobbiny Junior braided cord 3 mm – fine cord for macramé, crochet and knitting

Bobbiny Junior braided cord is a braided cord made from recycled cotton, 3 mm in diameter. You can use it for macramé, crochet, knitting and weaving. With 100 m on the reel, one reel is often enough for coasters, key rings, cushions or small bags. The cord is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

The thin diameter suits delicate work and fine knot patterns. It is also a good choice for beginners who want to practise with a manageable thickness. Choose your colour from the options.

Working with the cord

For macramé, work the cord in knots such as square knots or spiral knots, for example for key rings, coasters or small wall hangings. For crochet or knitting, use a hook or needles in size 6–8 mm. With the thin diameter, the stitches come out neat and the work stays flexible, for example for bags, baskets or cushion covers.

What to bear in mind when buying

If you are planning larger projects such as a bag or several coasters, work out the quantity you need beforehand. It is best to buy everything in one go, so that all the reels come from the same dye lot and the shade stays even.
