Matching thread and needle

Seams come out more even when the needle suits the fabric. For typical fabrics used with this thread, a universal needle is suitable: for fine fabrics at the lower end, around NM 70, and for firmer fabrics up to about NM 90. Before starting your project, sew a test stitch on a scrap of fabric so you can check the thread tension.
