CANSON C à grain A4 pad – versatile drawing paper with a fine grain

The CANSON “C” à grain pad in A4 format is a drawing pad for dry techniques and selected wet techniques. The natural white paper has a fine grain that is neither too smooth nor too pronounced, so fine detail as well as light relief and shading effects work particularly well.

At 224 g/m², the paper offers a sturdy surface for pencil, pastel and charcoal. Gouache, ink, Indian ink, dip pen and markers can also be used on it. The sized surface withstands repeated erasing or light scraping without quickly roughening or pilling.

The paper is made from alpha-cellulose, is lignin-free and acid-free, naturally white and made without optical brighteners. This keeps it age-resistant for a long time, and according to CANSON it meets the requirements of ISO 9706. CANSON also states that “C” à grain paper is FSC-certified, except for roll stock.
