Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. It usually starts with a square sheet, from which two- or three-dimensional objects are made. With 200 sheets in 20 colours, you have plenty of choice for several projects, including mobiles and garlands.

Which size suits your project?

At 20 × 20 cm, the sheets are larger than the usual 15 × 15 cm size. This makes it easier to fold each step accurately, especially for models with many layers or small details. For smaller models, the same series is also available in 15 × 15 cm.

Getting started

Place the sheet on a smooth, firm surface and run your fingernail along each fold to crease it neatly. Sharp creases make the finished model more stable and the corners more precise. To begin with, choose simple models such as a crane, boat or dog, and follow the sequence of steps in your instructions closely.
