MINI Scratch Art Turtle – scratch away the design to reveal the multicolour layer
The MINI Engraving ART scratch art with turtle design is a black lacquered board with a printed motif. With the engraving pen you scratch away the pre-printed design, and the multicoloured coating (multicolour) appears underneath.
At 12.5 × 17.5 cm, the size is handy and suits a small picture in an afternoon. The set contains the pre-printed card, the engraving pen and a practice card, so you can start straight away.
How to scratch
First try out on the practice card how much pressure you need for the lacquer to come off cleanly. Place the picture on a firm, flat surface and scratch the design away area by area. With light pressure and short strokes you keep control of the lines. Because the colours underneath run in different shades, every area you scratch free appears multicoloured.
