The Staedtler Mars micro 775 in 0.3 mm is a mechanical pencil for writing and drawing that produces particularly fine lines. The push button houses a PVC-free and latex-free eraser, so you can make small corrections without putting the pencil down.

Working with 0.3 mm

A lead this thin is sensitive to pressure. Press the button only until a short length of lead protrudes, and write with light pressure. The shorter the exposed lead, the less often it breaks. For lines along a ruler or stencil, guide the pencil along the edge; the rigid lead sleeve suits this. To erase, do not press the button: pull off the eraser cap and erase with the end of the pencil.

Which diameter should you choose?

At 0.3 mm you draw the finest lines this model offers, which makes sense for details, small handwriting and technical drawings.
