Pelikan Pelikano Junior Fountain Pen for Learning to Write

Pelikano Junior – learner fountain pen with grip zone and anti-roll design

The Pelikano Junior by Pelikan is a fountain pen designed for children learning to write. It has a robust stainless steel nib and a special grip zone that stops the fingers from slipping onto the nib while writing. This makes it easier to find a relaxed pen hold.

The shape of the pen and cap stops it rolling off the table. The large window lets you see at any time how much ink is left in the cartridge, and the name field lets you label the pen so it does not get mixed up at school. A large-capacity ink cartridge is included, so you can start writing straight away.

How the pen helps when learning to write

The grip zone gives the fingers a firm place in front of the nib. This helps children avoid gripping the pen too close to the tip and hold it loosely. The stainless steel nib is robust and designed for everyday school use. It is important to close the pen with the cap after writing so that the nib does not dry out.

Changing the ink cartridge

When the cartridge is empty, you can see it in the ink window. Unscrew the barrel, pull out the empty cartridge and push a new one firmly onto the spike until it sits securely. The pen is designed for large-capacity ink cartridges from Pelikan.
