Eberhard Faber Pavement Chalk – 50 Chalks in 8 Colours for Tarmac and Paving

Eberhard Faber pavement chalk (art. no. 526550) comes in a plastic bucket with 50 chalks and is made for drawing on paving stones and tarmac. The colours are bright, and according to Eberhard Faber the chalk marks are easily removed with water.

The 50 chalks are sorted into 8 colours: 6 each in white, yellow, green, red, lilac and skin tone, plus 7 each in blue and pink. With this large supply you can chalk out hopscotch grids and draw pictures and paths, and when several children draw at once, everyone has enough chalks to hand. The skin tone is handy for faces and figures.

Drawing with pavement chalk

Draw on a dry, preferably smooth surface, where the colours stay most clearly visible. On rough tarmac the chalk wears down faster because it is rubbed away more. According to Eberhard Faber, water is enough to remove it, for example from a watering can or hose.

Which bucket to choose

The same pavement chalk is also available in a bucket with 20 chalks. The bucket with 50 chalks is the better choice if several people are drawing together or larger areas are to be covered and you need several chalks of each colour.
