Eberhard Faber Finger Paints, Set of 6 – 6 colours, 100 ml each, for painting with your hands

The EFA Color finger paint set from Eberhard Faber contains six pots of 100 ml each (600 ml in total) in white, yellow, red, blue, green and black. The paints are made for painting with your fingers and, according to the manufacturer, have very good coverage. They dry quickly, are lightfast and wash out of most textiles.

You can start painting straight away with the six colours or mix your own: yellow, red and blue give you the in-between shades, white lightens them and black darkens them. According to the manufacturer, the paints mix well and go a long way.

Working with finger paints

First remove the freshness seal from the pots. For opaque coverage, apply the paint directly to the paper with your finger or the palm of your hand. Dab areas and textures with a sponge, or use a brush or palette knife to make lines and scratch patterns into the wet paint. The paint can be applied not only to paper and card but also to wood and glass. Because the paint is applied wet, thicker paper or card holds up better. Cover the table and clothing, and wash your hands and tools straight after painting, while the paint has not yet dried.

Set of 6 or set of 4?

The set of 6 also includes white and black. With these you can lighten or darken colours, and you can also paint black-and-white contrasts. The set of 4 covers yellow, red, blue and green.
