Eberhard Faber Basic Gel Crayons, 6 Colours in Cardboard Box

Eberhard Faber Basic Gel Crayons – 6 water-blendable gel crayons in twist-up barrels

The Eberhard Faber Basic gel crayons are creamy crayons with a super-soft, intensely coloured gel lead for colouring large areas. The cardboard box holds six crayons in yellow, orange, red, blue, green and black. The crayons glide easily over the paper. The colours are also opaque on dark surfaces.

The lead sits in a plastic twist-up barrel. It protects the lead from breaking and keeps your hands clean. The transparent cap closes the crayon.

Drawing with the gel crayons

Twist the lead out of the barrel as far as you need it for drawing. If it comes out too far, simply twist it back into the barrel. The soft lead lays down plenty of colour, so the crayons are particularly good for filling areas. As the colours are water-blendable, you can smudge them with a damp brush or your finger to create soft transitions and effects. On dark paper or other dark surfaces, the colours cover well.

Also for windows

According to the manufacturer, all six colours can also be used to paint on windows. Test the colour first on a small, inconspicuous area. The metallic version (art. no. 529106) has different colours from this Basic set.
