Staedtler Glitter gel crayons – set of 6 twist-up crayons

Staedtler Glitter gel crayons – 6 twist-up crayons with a glitter effect

Staedtler Glitter gel crayons come as a set of 6 gel crayons in assorted glitter colours for hobby and school use, including yellow, orange, red, blue and green. You twist the lead out of the barrel and start colouring, with no sharpening and no cap. The crayons are super soft and richly pigmented, so they glide easily over paper and cover larger areas quickly.

The crayons are designed for small children's hands. At 125 mm long they are easy to hold, and they come in a card case. According to Staedtler, the sliding sleeve makes them break-resistant.

How to use the gel crayons

Twist the lead out only as far as you need it for colouring, then twist it back in afterwards. This protects it and stops it from snapping off. The soft, richly pigmented lead is particularly suited to colouring large areas, filling in motifs and scratch (sgraffito) techniques. For the glitter effect, choose an area that you can colour in evenly, as this shows the colours off best.

Choosing the right set

This set contains the glitter colours. If you are looking for gel crayons without a glitter effect, take a look at the Staedtler basic set (art. no. 2390 C6).
